Covid-19 Update

Protecting our customers & installers

Update: As of Friday 8th January 2021, Smart Storage has paused storage installations in Ireland until 31st January 2021 in accordance with Government Guidelines. However, we are still taking bookings for future installations. We are operating with a reduced team currently, and will respond to your query as quickly as possible. Thank you for bearing with us.

STEP 1

Before the Installation

Safety is our number one priority. Prior to the installation, we will text and ask that you contact our dedicated helpline if anybody in your household is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms. Similarly, we will check in with your approved installer to ensure that he is not experiencing any Covid-19 related symptoms. If necessary, we will simply reschedule your fitting for a more suitable future date to keep everybody safe.

STEP 2

On the Day

On the day of your installation we kindly request that you keep windows open in the hallway and doors to other rooms closed. We ask that you and your family remain outside of the hallway during the installation to ensure adequate social distancing is maintained. Our installers will complete as much of the work outside your home as possible.

STEP 3

PPE

Smart Storage installers have been supplied with a range of personal protective equipment to ensure the highest hygiene standards are followed. Your installer will also wipe down the under stairs storage unit after installation as an extra hygiene measure.

Sit Back & Relax

While our installers have always greatly appreciated the lovely offer of a cup of tea or coffee, we will be unable to accept these kind gestures at present.

After the installation is complete, your approved installer will chat through the features of the unit with you while ensuring an appropriate social distance is maintained. Happy Storage!

Frequently Asked Questions

Rest assured that we are taking a number of steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Our installers have been provided with PPE equipment and are following new safety protocols which include adhering to social distancing measures and cleaning down the under stairs storage unit after installation.

We would really appreciate it if you could leave all windows into the hallway open before and throughout the installation. We also request that you keep doors to other rooms closed and remain at least 2m apart from your installer at all times.

Absolutely, our installers have been provided with PPE equipment.
